Foster the Future was founded to help kids in out of home care. Our organisation is run by young people looking to make a difference with a low budget. To do this we put technology at the forefront of our organisation to fulfil our goals of safe and quality education.

Operations - Automated for success

To fulfil our mission at a low cost we use In-house software developed to automate our tutoring matches to ensure a good fit. We use Machine Learning and data handling technology to determine which of our tutors will have the best impact on each student. To maintain a human element we have a coordinator examine every match before recommendation.

Safety First - Facial Recognition to ensure privacy

We are proud of the online tutoring we offer to kids in Regional NSW and VIC. To help make this a reality we make privacy and safety our number one goal. We deploy facial recognition technology on our Zoom tutoring sessions to prevent lapses of private information. We also automate detection of inappropriate content to maintain safety.

Continuously Improving our tutoring experience

In addition to safety we take the success of our tutors seriously. We deploy Natural Language Processing techniques such as Sentiment Analysis, Content Modelling, as well as analytical monitoring, to track the progress of our tutors and the feedback of our students.
